How to troubleshoot ethernet issues

      Z8, Z Alpha, Z+ Neo

  • Open Android Settings

  • Open Network settings

  • Scroll down to 'IP Settings' and make sure DHCP is enabled

  • Scroll to 'Proxy Settings' in the Network settings and make sure it is set to None
  • Uninstall any DNS or VPN app from your device
  • Disable IPv6 option in Android Settings and test again
  • Disconnect LAN cable, reboot the router and reconnect LAN cable to your device.

Finally, if none of the above steps solves your Ethernet issue, factory resetting and test again:

        Z+

  • Open the 'Ethernet' in the settings and make sure DHCP is enabled
  • Uninstall any DNS or VPN app from your device
  • Disconnect LAN cable, reboot the router and reconnect LAN cable to your device.
  • Make a manual factory resetting and test again:
